miio already has a community of over 100,000 users. In July 2022, miio announced its international expansion into two new markets: Spain and France. This company is revolutionizing electric mobility and simplifying the charging of electric vehicles. The application simulates prices and charging times in advance. miio offers automated payments and the ability to interact with its large community of users. miio also collaborates with the electric mobility ecosystem to create a reliable, resilient and efficient network. This ecosystem is effective both on the road and in the home environment. It benefits current and future electric vehicle drivers.
Gireve – the B2B platform for new mobility brings together more than 230,000 charging points in Europe
Gireve offers services and tools to accelerate the activity of the players and build the mobility of tomorrow. As an aggregator of public charging stations, Gireve connects operators to simplify their contractual and technical relations. Going through Gireve allows to offer a fluid recharging and to simplify the drivers’ journeys. As a data expert, the company offers analyses and predictive reports on the mobility uses of the coming years. As a trusted partner, Gireve customizes its recommendations, advice and training to support the entire ecosystem.
The alliance between Gireve and miio – facilitating the electric mobility of our users and the energy transition in general
In partnership with Gireve, miio will cover the French charging network, with access to 61,684 charging stations. This includes charging station operators (CPOs) that are connected to the Gireve platform. These CPOs include Shell, Total Energies, Ionity, Allego, IZIVIA, BUMP, Metropolis Grand Paris, etc.
More than 100,000 miio users can now use the application’s features on the Gireve network. This means that they will be able to access the features and availability of the kiosks. They will also be able to make payments and benefit from the specificity of the miio application. This application is the only one to indicate the final price of the recharge beforehand without having to go anywhere.
“France is the core target of our internationalization, so we chose Gireve as our partner for its roaming platform, which is the largest in the territory, and the quality service that comes with it,” explains Daniela Simoēs, co-founder and CEO of miio. “This relationship represents the first step in our development in France to facilitate the electric mobility of our users and the energy transition in general.”
“At Gireve we strive for e-mobility uptake, focusing on keeping a high level of service quality for all users”, says Mireia Delgado, Business Development Manager. “It is a great pleasure to welcome a fast-growth partner such as miio. We share the same customer and quality centered approaches.”
Currently, the miio app has nearly 19,000 locations in France with more than 55,000 charging stations in total (more than 81,000 outlets) and 170 networks of different CPOs. In the future and as its user database grows, the startup plans to expand its French charging network through P2P connections and both B2B and B2C partnerships.
