The French Métropole Aix-Marseille-Provence has joined the roaming platform GIREVE to open its charging points to roaming.
The Métropole is very committed to improving air quality, supporting EV acquisition and use by creating a network of charge called “larecharge”.
The Métropole plans a mass installation of charging stations in the coming years. To make them accessible to any user, the network will be interoperable through GIREVE’s roaming platform.
EV drivers will thus be able to access charging and pay with their own mobile app or charging card.
Before 2021 the Métropole will implement 275 fast charging stations, delivering between 14 and 22 kWh.
