Wirelane Joins Gireve’s Roaming Network

Wirelane joins GIREVE’s network

Wirelane’s teams met in GIREVE’s office this Monday to sign the connection agreement between the e-mobility service provider and the roaming platform.

With this agreement, Wirelane will be able to provide its customers with many charging points, available through their app and RFID pass.  This meets the brand’s objective, which is to “make EV charging better by making it easier, so that owning and running an electric car feels seamless and effortless. As it should be.”

Wirelane develops software for electric vehicle charging. Through a mobile app, the user can see charging stations nearby, but also access a full overview of their current and past charging sessions, together with payments and receipts. The app enables payment on charging points if their operator has a roaming agreement with Wirelane. Payment is also possible through the RFID pass. The company’s service is constantly evolving, aiming at providing customers with a full EV charging stations ecosystem.

Benefitting from a strong growth since its creation in 2013 by major players of electric mobility Renault, Enedis, the Caisse des depots and CNR, GIREVE is now playing a central role in the digital transformation of electric mobility. Its development is increasing further with the arrival of the Fond de Modernisation Ecologique des Transports (FMET) dedicated to investing in infrastructures that contribute to the ecological modernisation of transportation.
