Paris, 23rd April, 2025 – Through its e-mobility subsidiary Yusco, Voltalia is deploying an extensive charging network. This network is now integrated into Gireve’s platform to facilitate seamless access for eMSPs and their users.
Gireve is proud to announce its partnership with Voltalia, a key player in renewable energy. Together, we aim to enhance charging for EV drivers across France. Yusco, as Voltalia’s CPO, manages the development of EV charging infrastructure in strategic locations. This expansion is carried out in collaboration with major retail companies Auchan Retail, DECATHLON France, and Leroy Merlin. To provide seamless customer experience, these charging points are marketed by Le Plein. This service was created by the three retailers to ensure accessibility and user-friendly charging.
Expanding EV charging access through interoperability
By integrating Voltalia’s Yusco-operated charging stations into Gireve’s platform, eMSPs will get access to an even broader charging network as it covers more than 350 charging points. This partnership ensures that EV drivers can seamlessly locate Le Plein stations and charge through the apps and services of Gireve’s eMSP partners.
Supporting a growing EV market
France is rapidly expanding its EV market, with over two million electric vehicles on the road today and projections for seven million by 2030. Parking lots of French retail stores are key locations for daily charging. On average, customer parks for 56 minutes, enough time for a meaningful charge. Yusco’s network, accessible through Gireve, will provide both slow, fast and ultra-fast charging options tailored to user needs.
