This summer, the e-mobility service provider EASYTRIP, with its KiWhi Pass® solution, connected to GIREVE’s platform using the
OCPI protocol (Open Charge Point Interface). Its goal is to expand the charging network for its European customers. It is the first
time that GIREVE uses a protocol other than eMIP, the license-free protocol it developed.

“The OCPI connection to GIREVE’s interoperability platform is another opportunity to increase our network. We are very happy to contribute to the first OCPI connection between an EMSP and a valued platform such as GIREVE.. We will soon announce new network openings among which the fast charge network Corri-Door” (Claude MULLER, EASYTRIP France General Manager)

By becoming OCPI-compliant, GIREVE shows its technical adaptability and proves that its relevancy goes beyond its protocol. Looking for openness, GIREVE’s platform enhances open protocols and thus enables charge roaming between operators using different technical standards.

“Many operators using that protocol are interested in joining our platform. It will enable us to spread quickly in Europe and increase the number of charge points open to roaming, facilitating in the end the experience of the driver” (Bruno LEBRUN, CEO of GIREVE)
