PARIS – June 24, 2025 – Freshmile, a leading EV charging operator in France, is reinforcing its collaboration with roaming platform Gireve, which becomes its key partner for Plug & Charge services. This marks a new milestone in a long-standing partnership focused on interoperability, dating back to 2015.
As part of this strategic collaboration, Gireve will serve as a key provider of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). This supports the large-scale deployment of Freshmile’s Plug & Charge service. Currently being tested with leading automotive partners, this technology—based on the ISO 15118 standard—will enable electric vehicle drivers to enjoy a secure and automated charging experience. Thus, there is no need for cards or apps.
Together, Freshmile and Gireve are accelerating the energy transition in e-mobility. They also simplify charging for end users.
