French Grenoble-Alpes Métropole Opens Its Network To E-Roaming

French Grenoble-Alpes Métropole gathers 49 French communes. It got connected to GIREVE’s platform to enhance its charging services towards its users and neighbouring drivers.

The 38 charging stations of the Metropole are operated by Bouygues Energies et Services. They are part of a global project to foster  the development of a low-emission zone. The stations got connected to GIREVE’s platform to make them interoperable and enable roaming of EV drivers.

“Grenoble-Alpes Métropole joined GIREVE to open its charging point to other users and provide its subscribers with easy access to a greater number of charging points. Simplifying charging is necessary for e-mobility development and EV usage massification. To this end, interoperability is an essential asset and a real answer to help EV drivers charge easily” Romain GIRAULT, E-mobility Project Manager
