By integrating Gireve’s platform, Arnold Clark Charge makes its 150kW hubs instantly accessible to a global community of EV drivers. This partnership ensures that high-speed, affordable charging is always within reach for any user on the Gireve ecosystem.
A new era for UK high-speed charging
Arnold Clark is currently redefining the UK’s infrastructure standards through a £30 million investment. As the UK’s largest independently owned car retailer, the group has established 60 ultra-rapid hubs at its branches nationwide. These hubs are open to the public, providing a critical service for both residents and long-distance travellers.
Combining speed with market-leading value
Each Arnold Clark Charge hub features up to 12 ultra-rapid chargers, capable of delivering speeds up to 150kW. This high-performance hardware allows drivers to top up quickly and return to the road in minutes. Furthermore, Arnold Clark Charge leads the market on price, offering ultra-rapid charging at just 55p/kWh. This rate sits significantly lower than the June 2025 UK average of 76p/kWh, making the transition to electric mobility more financially sustainable for all drivers.
Simplified access via Gireve roaming
The integration of Gireve’s roaming services allows Arnold Clark Charge to open its charge points to a vast network of EV drivers. Users can now use their preferred e-Mobility Service Provider (eMSP) apps to locate and pay for charging sessions seamlessly.
