GIREVE partners with The Mobena initiative to accelerates the roll-out of new generation e-Mobility
The Mobena initiative was created in July 2020 by the main French professional organizations representing the electromobility ecosystem in the French market. The goal is to simplify the user experience by ensuring interoperability between charging systems and leading the way towards the deployment of a new generation of EV charging in the French market. Gireve contributes to this initiative and will participate in a demonstration with different partners on June 2nd.
Towards an open and fair market with a reference architecture
The Mobena initiative’s objective is to ensure a successful deployment in the French market of the ISO 15118 services (Plug and Charge -PnC- and smart charging) in a harmonized way with Europe.
To do this, adopting a reference architecture, from technical and organizational point of view, is key. Such architecture shall ensure interoperability and enable an open and fair market between all EV actors and allow end-users and operators to freely sele
Demonstration of the Certificate Trust List for Plug and Charge interoperability on June 2th.
After a feasibility test of the connections, carried out with several MOBENA partners last March, GIREVE will be present on June 2 for a demonstration of an operational solution in real conditions.
The partners will demonstrate that the Certificate Trust List (CTL) technology – one of the studied options – is suited to this need. The demonstration will be done using electric vehicles, charging stations and IT services (including PKI) located in 3 countries: France, Netherlands, and Germany.
The demonstrations will be operated by actors representing different roles in the Electromobility domain.
