Paris, 10th February 2025 – Payment Solution Provider GLS Mobility joins Gireve’s roaming platform to introduce an innovative cloud solution for direct payment in EV charging. With this partnership, Charge Point Operators (CPOs) can offer direct payment on their stations without having to equip or retrofit every single charging station.
A strategic partnership for payment solutions
GLS Mobility offers payment hardware and software for maximum flexibility and integration into any kind of charging infrastructure. The solution is available in Germany and Switzerland and is expanding in Benelux with GLS Mobility’s partner Payworld.
This partnership opens new opportunities for CPOs, allowing them to operate independently from any hardware-related constraints. They can also comply with AFIR’s regulation that makes it mandatory for newly installed stations to offer direct payment.
Gireve and GLS Mobility share core values and gather around one same goal, making eMobility accessible through cooperation. With this connection GLS Mobility will be able to accelerate its expansion to various European countries, notably to the Benelux region through their partner Payworld, Gireve will be able to expand its connectivity in the DACH-region.
