As of December 31st,2021, a total of 53,667 charging points open to the public were available in France, which amounts to 80 charging points for 100,000 inhabitants in average.
The number has increased by 64% since December, 2020 when 32,736 charging points were available.
About 21,000 charging points were installed in 2021, compared to an average of 4,000 per year over the last three years.
